We dice it up and cook it to mostly done, then remove the bacon and cook the sausage in the bacon grease. Then we drain it, put the bacon back in and then the cheese and mix that up before baking on the english muffins. So glad you are sharing this recipe! We actu...E -<br /><br />So glad you are sharing this recipe! We actually just call them "sausage things" (even LESS creative). I do add one extra ingredient that you omitted. I put about 1/2 to 1 stick of butter in the Old English cheese as it melts. I am sure you can make them without the butter, but it sure makes them taste good! <br /><br />Hope yall are doing well!
