Have you heard of CSN Stores?! They seem to be pretty popular in the blog world; but, I admit, I hadn't checked them out before recently. I'm telling you... this place has IT ALL -- lighting, decorating accessories, furniture, etc. etc. And, their prices are excellent!!!! Today, I especially love them because they are hosting A GIVEAWAY with a little something special JUST FOR YOU! :)
I am SO excited about what I've chosen!
First, a little background... Remember my LoveBirds and Linens shower? Well, one thing I didn't share are these awesome invitations...
Aren't they the greatest???
Naturally, since there is only so much you can do with an invitation, I went on the search for other cute items with a similar look. AND, lucky for you, I found THESE adorable DwellStudio (the same company who designed the invitations) linen/cotton placemats that fit the theme PERFECTLY.
To make them yours, all you have to do is any, or all, of the following:
- Leave a comment telling me the BEST wedding gift you have ever given OR received
- Become a follower of my blog (or just say so, if you already are)
- Write about this give-away on your blog, Facebook, or Twitter & link back to me
That's right, you have THREE CHANCES TO WIN! Just make sure you tell me which ones you did in your comment!
- This give-away will be open until THURSDAY 4/22 at 11:59PM to all US and Canada residents.
Don't miss out!
*CSN stores is this incredible shopping phenomenon where you can (literally) find ALL things wonderful at even-more-wonderful prices! Go check it out!
It's hard to think of my favorite wedding gift given or recieved? I think that money is the best wedding gift to give people. We used money people gave us to buy trees and plants for our home's front yard. Home Depot cards and Lowe's cards were a hit since my husband could enjoy buying things.
ReplyDeleteAlso, please do not bring gifts to a wedding. It is a pain to transport gifts from the wedding and you worry about gifts being stolen. (We had a crasher at our wedding!)
E-- I loved the themed shower! You did a great job. My sister-in-law threw a Lingerie shower for me. That was really fun!-- Jen L.

ReplyDeleteAnd, the best wedding gift we received was probably our washer and dryer. I mean that's a really good one, even if it was from my in-laws. :)
I think the best wedding gift we received was from our pastor who delayed surgery to be able to marry us and also ave us $100.

ReplyDeleteI gave monogrammed coasters to my future sister-in-law this weekend. She loved them :)
ReplyDeleteoh! I also follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteOur best wedding gift was...okay, honestly? It was a really big check from a relative. I know that's totally lame and not original but it's the gosh darn truth.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I loooooove those placemats.
Oh, and I'm a blog stalker...err...follower.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite wedding present that I ever gave was a grab bag of useful OXO products, and a recipe card kit.

ReplyDeleteConsidering I have yet to be married, I would have to go with my favorite wedding gift...
I think that would be for my brother & sister-in-law's wedding, I helped my sis-in-law do a lot of the planning and a lot of the design work, I know it might not seem like a "gift" but it helped ease the stress and let her enjoy her day more!

ReplyDeleteThe best wedding gift i've given (haven't received yet b/c i'm not engaged) would have to be a scrap book i made for my sister. it was tons of pictures of her and her fiance when they were little, all the way up to when they were engaged. It was so cute!
Also, my mom and I gave my sister beautiful wash cloths and a quilt that my great-grandmother had made. She passed away about 10 years ago and her and my sister were EXTREMELY close. My sister just burst into tears when we gave it to her. It was awesome!
My most favorite wedding gift was a handmade quilt from my husband's grandma. It doesn't really go with anything in our house--seriously, nothing at all--but it's so special. I just love it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to many weddings as an adult, but I have to say that shopping from the registry is always a good idea. It makes it easy for the guest and the bride and groom definitely appreciate it.
Now if I was a grandma, on the other hand, I would totally go the homemade route!
I love the placemats! They are gorgeous. I supposed the best wedding gift I ever gave was my time - a girlfriend's daughter had a "DIY" wedding and my fiancé and I spent the entire day "DIY"...from decorating the hall, setting all the tables, to purchasing and supplying a chunk of the bar and other beverages. The reception went well, although a few of the guests thought we were "staff". LOL. In October, after our wedding, I'll let you know about the best gift we receive!
ReplyDeleteWell, now that I have all of these lovely bird accessories (love the bird bottle opener, Julie!) I might need some placemats to match :) I have been a loyal follower since Day 1 and always give supportive comments (unlike your mom and sister, who think I'm too nice in my comments-- hahaha). I cannot choose a favorite in my wedding gifts so far... but I did really love what I gave you for your wedding, the pretty apron and cute cookbook :)

I don't have to tell you that I'm a follower, you know who your #1 blog fan is...as for the wedding gift I would have to say that the wooden chips and dip bowl I gave Mr. & Mrs. Chapman would be my favorite and most used gift to date.

ReplyDeleteThe best wedding gift I got was hmmm... my sister made a really sweet scrapbook and had tons of people send in their "marriage" advice so that was really cute! My mom got us a canon G10 camera that we get so much use out of.. and a fat check from his grandparents was also pretty sweet:) Love the placemats and napkins!

ReplyDeleteOkay, the best wedding gift I ever gave was a set of monogrammed towels. Not the most fun gift, but definitely cute. Plus, I knew that they'd be used a lot!
ReplyDeleteI tweeted about your blog giveaway!! Thanks for the chance to win!
