Today, "Show Us Where You Live" is all about Master Bedrooms! This is NOT one of my favorite rooms in the house! It was a "home makeover" project my parents and I completed two years ago while Jeff was traveling with friends for five days. I love a lot of the little features; but, now,- especially in pictures - it just looks SO bland. Any tips you have for "sprucing" it up with little (or, ideally, NO) money would be MUCH appreciated! Nikki, a project for you maybe?!?
Anyways, here she is...
Here's hoping I get lots of fun ideas from the other master bedrooms posted
here today!
i love your wall color! it is so gorgeous! and the green lamp...adorable! :)
ReplyDeletePotential Ideas I've thought of for your already cute room:
ReplyDelete- Accent Wall color ALWAYS helps add pop to a room
- You could add some sort of window treatment (nothing big just something simple with a pop of color and texture)
- Add art work or something 3D on the wall behind your bed. Maybe frame the monogrammed C or do the wrapping paper idea that you've done before!
You're creative, I know you'll make it look awesome however you do it. :)
I think the best thing you could do is to add some curtains (even if you don't use them!) and hang some art or pictures. All you need is some accessories! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the green! I think an accent wall would look great!
ReplyDeleteOh I love it! Green and white are my favorite colors together. They look great. And so does this room.
ReplyDeleteI really like your cane print pillows!
ReplyDeleteYour golden retriever is adorable in your header too. I bet our goldens would be friends! Mine always favors other golden retrievers on our walks.
Thanks for sharing!
Love it! So beautiful!

love the front and center spot that jewelry box gets :-)
ReplyDeleteSprucing up?
ReplyDeleteI don't want to state the obvious, but there isn't one shirtless picture of me in the room.
1. They should be everywhere.
2. Wal-mart will take a picture and screen print it on pillow cases and stitch them into afghans.
You are thinking to yourself... "Joe brilliant, but what would Jeff think"?
Sure this will lead to some obvious insecurities, staring at framed pictures of all that is man every night, but he will be comforted by laying his head on my bare chest (pillow case) and being wrapped in my embrace (afghan) every night.
I dare you to find a loser in that scenerio.
I love the green POP of color. I am such a green girl!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks just beautiful :)
