One week from tomorrow, I'll be back to school! Hard to believe the summer has come and gone so fast... I can't complain though, I've definitely gotten to see and experience a lot. It has been the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

Now the question is... What should I do to make the most of my last week off?
Well, for starters, I've decided to tackle a little home-improvement project on...
My Laundry Room!!!
(But of course!)
I've been brainstorming ideas and gathering "accessories" (slash avoiding actually doing any work) for over a week.. But, I think I'm finally ready to go. The task is to create a cute and practical space for laundry AND crafts on a budget of $150.00. (True, I don't really do crafts... But, that's because I don't have a super cozy craft room - duh!)
Here is my inspiration room from HGTV's Rate My Space:
(I mean, you'd think I like the color turquoise or something!)
And, HERE is what I'm working with:
As you can see, I have my work cut out for me. But, luckily, I'm using YOU as my accountability system, so check back later this week for the AFTER photo. (And, in case you were wondering, I also plan to do lots of sleeping in, coffee-dates, shopping, and other favorites in my final days of summertime freedom!)
Off to paint...
Love that inspiration room! Good luck getting it done!
ReplyDeleteHello, this is probably unconventional but I think you might consider, for extra exposure and traffic, adding your site to my ' new ' Social Directory at www.theitzone.org
ReplyDeletei have that same green counter top in the kitchen at the old house....
ReplyDeletei can't wait to see what you do with it!
My boyfriend and I have the same green counter top, only it's in our kitchen! We are trying to replace it.
